Hispanic voters are mobilizing. We are registering more and more Hispanic new voters each day. Some register as Democrats and Independents, and only a few register as Republican because they ask us what Party Brewer and Pearce are affiliated with, and when we tell them Republican, they crinkle their noses and tell us they can’t register as Republican.
See what SB 1070 has done to Arizona? See what the 14th amendment changes are doing to our state? It’s stirring people up because they see an Arizona State Senator shredding our Constitution. We had a successful signature petition drive in Mesa today. Some of us were sunburned from standing in the sun all day, but it’s worth it.
